Very friendly staff. Delicious food. Great coffee. Beautiful interior. Fantastic view. Kid-friendly atmosphere. Couldn't find a flaw with this place if I tried... I absolutely love it.

In Maori, Moana means "deep sea or large body of water." A few years ago, I stumbled upon Moana by accident. Before booking, I was a bit skeptical, as I had never been to the southern Black Sea and thought it would be like the big resorts - overcrowded and noisy. Still, I decided to try something new, and I don't regret it for a moment. In the heart of Ahtopol, there is another Moana, which gives a new meaning to the word - friendship. The heart and soul of this Moana are Chrissy and Victor. They will always greet you with a smile and send you off as friends. The apartments they offer are excellent - clean as those in a reputable hotel chain. They are furnished in a modern style, with taste and attention to detail. Equipped with everything you might need — a large refrigerator, washing machine, big TV, air conditioning, and much more. But more importantly, they offer exceptional comfort and coziness. Some of them boast a unique view of the sea, the lighthouse (a symbol of Ahtopol), and from the terraces you can enjoy unforgettable sunsets over the fishing village, the pier, and the harbor. On the ground floor, there is a café that offers the most delicious coffee on the southern Black Sea coast. I commend the hosts for choosing Dabov coffee — a well-established brand known for its high quality and unique taste. Not to mention, the farmers they work with are committed to sustainable development in the regions where they live. There are always fresh sweet and savory snacks. But not only that. There you will find friendly people who will prepare you all sorts of tasty treats. Ever since I first tried the homemade biscuit cake two years ago, whenever I see or hear "biscuit cake," I immediately think of the warm-hearted Moana team, the wonderful hosts, the Ahtopol lighthouse, and the sunset behind it. What I mean is that this particular biscuit cake is not just food — it’s an emotional experience and a masterpiece of flavor. There is also a co-working space with very comfortable tables and chairs, and fast and stable internet. For those who want to relax in the sea, which is literally 10 meters away, in a different way, Victor will provide you with a SUP, with which you can enjoy the bay of Ahtopol, with its old lighthouse. And if you are a beginner, Vic will teach you very quickly. Victor and Chrissy will tell you about old Ahtopol and will guide you to the natural and historical sights in Strandzha Nature Park, which are within short driving distances. They will also direct you to the "hidden" places where they offer fresh and extremely tasty seafood. I can’t wait to see you again next year, dear people from Moana.

A coasy digital nomad oasis! The place is amazing for some remote work, they offer comfy working space, perfect coffee and unique cakes! In your lunch breaks or days off you can also make use of the available SUP boards and paddle around the beautifull coastline in Ahtopol. Occasionally on good forecasts you can catch some surf at the local spot right infront of the office! The staff is everything you could ask for! Friendly, willing to help and they will make your stay unforgetable. Krisi and Viktor are the best hosts you can ask for! 100% Recommended and will defintely be coming back regularly!

I passed by at night, checked the reviews, and came by for cake the next morning. The frosting is made with chia seeds and yogurt and tasted delicious. It's maybe the only place in Ahtopol with milk alternatives for the lactose intolerant and vegans out there. Overall a very cute place with strong wifi and stronger coffee. Too bad it is my last day in Ahtopol or I would come back tomorrow. I'll be back next summer for sure! As for the co-working part, lots of nice tables with comfortable chairs to set up a laptop. We'll have to try this next year as well. 11/10 recommend

Good coffee, awesome view, and tasty and healthy food. Tried the fermented oatmeal, and it was great. The iced latte was good, too. Didn't want to leave because the view of the sea was very relaxing. The owner speaks English and German. I'll go back next time I'm in the area

It was about time that we visit Moana!! This hidden can be the perfect place for your morning coffee, quick breakie before heading to the beach or the place to bring your mom for a cake. The view is more than romantic. It’s pet friendly. And bigger part of it works as a co-working space. ⌨

I was in a need of a quiet place and nice internet connection during my surf trip and Moana was the best place to do that. The hosts are super friendly, you can see the waves from the place and their coffee is . Absolutely recommend the place is you’re around the South coast of Bulgaria! ⭐
